Ali-Ollie Woodson was an American singer, songwriter, and musician best known as the lead vocalist of The Temptations from 1984 to 1986 and again from 1988 to 1996. He was born Ollie Creggett on September 12, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan.

Woodson first joined The Temptations as a backup singer in 1983 and became the lead vocalist the following year. During his time with the group, he recorded several of their hits, including "Treat Her Like a Lady" and "Sail Away."

In addition to his work with The Temptations, Woodson also released several solo albums and collaborated with other artists, such as Aretha Franklin and Curtis Mayfield.

Woodson left The Temptations in 1996 due to health issues and went on to pursue a solo career. He continued to perform and record music until his death from cancer on May 30, 2010. Woodson was posthumously inducted into the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame in 2015.
